Neurodiversity affirming therapy for children and adults
My name is Kayleigh Fearn and I am a Psychotherapist specialising in individuals who are neurodivergent in Morpeth and North Shields.
I also offer Sports Psychotherapy, with a focus on supporting young people in sport to thrive both on and off the field.
When life feels overwhelming
You may have found yourself here because life feels overwhelming, exhausting, or perhaps you're feeling stuck. Are you’re experiencing emotional ups and downs, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or a sense that you’ve been working harder than others just to cope? Does it feel like you're in sinking sand?
You might be:
-
an adult with ADHD or Autism, possibly diagnosed later in life
-
a parent looking for support for your child, teenager or young adult
-
waiting for an assessment, and needing support in the meantime
-
not formally diagnosed, but recognising yourself (or your child) in descriptions of neurodivergence and wanting a space to explore this safely
-
looking for support that feels understanding, affirming and not judgmental
Whatever brings you here, you are not alone and you don’t have to make sense of it on your own. I'm here to help.
A therapy space that truly understands neurodivergence
The idea of starting therapy can bring up feelings of uncertainty, fear, or shame, particularly if you or your child have felt misunderstood, judged, or “too much” in the past. Reaching out for support is a brave step, and one that can be genuinely life-changing.
At the heart of my practice is empathy, compassion, acceptance, and authenticity. I offer a safe, calm, and non-judgemental space where you can express yourself freely and truly be heard, understood, and supported at your own pace.
Alongside my professional training, I bring a deep understanding of neurodivergence and the emotional impact it can have on identity, relationships, and wellbeing. Many clients value working with someone who truly gets it.
